I chose to photograph my dog, Riley. Riley just turned one a few weeks ago, and she is full of energy. She is a Wheaten Terrier, so she is very crazy, yet sweet. I love that when I come home from school she is always so happy to see me - she will just lick me to death. I chose to take the photos of my dog mostly outside, but some were inside. Some I chose to take from the outside of an opened window looking inside. The natural light from outside will allow for the image to show as much color and texture of her coat as possible. The framing I used was to make it as though you were looking right at my dog close up. While taking the portraits of my dog, I found it hard to get her to remain still. By trying to keep her face the main emphasis of the photo and using a selective focus, it was hard when she would become distracted and look away.
